Background

This is my story....

I created this blog in June 2017, as an end result of my impact project. I want to use this blog to share stories about kids who make a difference, some inspiring role models, and highlights from my own journey. 

I am hoping to find other kids who also have a passion for having a say and making a difference. My goal is for my blog to have a positive impact on tweens who feel like they are limited to only participating in a few events/groups. 

I would love it if adults let us into the world of important, real organisations and events, and did not exclude because we are supposedly not old enough to help.

My Impact project started with Emma Watson (see my blog post), who lead me to find the UN, then the Model UN, and then the Youth Council in Palmerston North. All these fantastic organisations unfortunately do not welcome tweens, even though, some of us have heaps of ideas, that could be life changing. I want to make a group similar to those listed above, for anyone, who would like to be a part of something that will benefit something.  

I will be adding new stories to this blog regularly, so keep coming back and touching base.
